Services

The house will have been cleaned before you arrive. Sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases and towels are provided.

Logs are usually available and are stored in the cupboard outside by the front door.

NB. Any damage or breakages should be made good or reported to the cleaner or the owners and paid for.

Bedrooms

Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two single beds and one with bunk beds

Availability

Letting is usually on a weekly basis from 4pm on a Friday until 10.am on the following Friday.  Out of the summer season weekend lets and variable length lets are usually available.  Arrangements for handing over the keys will be made by e mail or telephone just before occupation.

Access

By road. From the west, via the coast road from Brancaster, the property is on the left on a slip road about 100yds after the sign for Brancaster Staithe.

From Burnham Market turn left onto the coast road and go about a mile via a church (on the right), a garage (on the left), past the pub/restaurant the White Horse(on the right), the Jolly Sailor (on the left) and then 100yds further, on the right past some low terraced houses, there is a slip road leading to number 7. The house  is marked by a low hedge at right angles to the house.

Disabled guests

Unfortunately the house is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Bookings

Bookings are made on line. Our preferred method of payment is by BACS. A deposit of 20% of whole fee is payable on booking and final payment eight weeks before stay.

Parking

Parking is available in front of the house for two cars.

Pets

A maximum of two dogs are allowed on the premises.

Dogs are allowed downstairs but definitely not upstairs or on the chairs or sofas. They should not be allowed on the flower beds surrounding the patio

Heating

There is a wood burning stove besides storage heaters which keep the house very warm in winter.

Security

The insurance for the house is only valid for burglary if forceful entry is proven. It is therefore important that it is properly locked up at night and when nobody is in. We do not carry insurance for tenant’s belongings (which would expect to normally be carried on their own policies).

Refunds

If the stay is cancelled more than eight weeks before booking the deposit is non-refundable but the balance of the cost will be refunded if it has been paid.
